Bought this cam after a YouTube comparison to far more expensive known brand cameras. It’s amazing, it’s a bit too wide angle for me but that’s good for some.
I’ve seen some post negatively on this camera, but the issues they mention are user settings that they have neglected to adjust…

This webcam is punching above it's weight for the price. Can't fault it. If you need something plug-in, with wide angle, this is the webcam you should get. Yes, it doesn't have cover, but I can't really complain for the price.
