This Micro SD card is ideal for an Amazon Fire tablet however, you have to format it through the tablet. Otherwise, it comes up not compatible with Amazon Fire 8.

in the past,with other vendors, i has been sold a memory card that fell far short of what was advertised. i was pleasantly surprised to find the "MyMemory" label of memory cad to be as advertised! i will be telling all my friends and family about their great product!
