Great for photography ie flash units. They hold a charge for months.

I ordered the Panasonic Eneloop battery charger and batteries for my camera flashgun that was going through non rechargeable batteries at an alarming rate. The Eneloop are a big improvement all round including a quicker recycling time,lasting longer and yes rechargeable. I reckon they will have paid for themselves in as little as couple of months.
