This is a very nice, thin SSD. The mounting uses a thin plastic spacer to bring the thickness up to normal thickness for the frame slots. I did not need this as I had screw mountings to use. It took Win 10 Pro very quickly and continues to be very fast at both start up and normal use. Very well pleased and would recommend as exceptional value for money.

Updated Windows 7 to Windows 10 on an old laptop (free Windows 10 upgrade is still available; just search) at same time as installing this SSD.
Laptop now boots in about 20 seconds.
Didn't do any specific speed tests but the transformation from HDD to SSD speeds make old systems usable again. When old (8+years) laptops can be upgraded to a useful speed for such a low price then I'm happy & I am sure anybody else doing same will be too.
With SSD's now this cheap everybody running Windows 7 should consider this dual upgrade now before Microsoft ends support for Windows 7 in January 2020.

This was recommended to me & I'm glad I bought it. Its faster than my old one and holds enough storage for my use also it was a great price. Definitely recommend it to anybody looking for one.
