The Cobra MT100 is a PMR446, two way radio that is stylish, yet affordable and is the ideal way for everyone to stay connected during outdoor adventures. No matter whether your at home, work, on the campsite, at a festival or simply hiking, the Cobra MT100 makes sure you stay in touch with everyone, when needed. The Cobra MT100 has an UHF/FM ultra-clear, long distance reception with extended range capability, that provides a range of up to 3 km (Range will vary depending on terrain and conditions) and is also compatible with other PMR446 two way radios. The Cobra MT100 is also totally license free, meaning there are no extra hidden call charges, bills, fees or subscriptions. Further features include: Easy access to 16 channels, 121 Privacy Codes - 38 CTCSS (Continuous Tone Coded Squelch System) codes and 83 DCS (Digitally Coded Squelch) codes provide a total of 121 privacy codes, 1936 privacy combinations are possible when the 16 channels are combined with the 121 privacy codes, unique battery saver circuit extends the life of the batteries which automatically switches to saver mode if there are no transmissions within 10 seconds, scan feature allows the user to scan either channels or privacy codes within a channel to locate conversations in progress, call alert provides an easily recognizable alert for incoming calls, roger beep tone confirmation indicates the completion of the user’s transmission and signals to others it is clear to talk, auto squelch automatically shuts off weak transmissions or unwanted noise due to terrain or range constraints, easy to view LCD display provides the radio’s status at a glance, keystroke tone signal confirms key activation, belt clip secures your radio while on the go and high quality band frequencies with no licence or service fees that works with other PMR walkie-talkie 2-way radios.
