NM memory cards are an expandable storage format that was announced by Huawei in October 2018 when they launched the Mate 20 and Mate Pro 20 smartphone. At the time this new memory format had yet to be approved by the SD Card Association. NM cards were introduced to replace the microSD slot on Huawei smartphones, and instead fit into the dual SIM card slots, utilising what has become a more common feature on smartphones.
NM stands for Nano Memory.
NM cards have a capacity limit of 256GB.
NM cards are compatible with the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate Pro 20 smartphones.
NM cards are the same size as a nano SIM, 12.3mm by 8.8mm by 0.67mm.
NM cards are smaller than microSD memory cards. They also fit into the dual SIM slot, meaning no need for an additional slot on mobile phones.
Please use our Device Finder or check your manual to find out whether your device is compatible with a NM card.
NM memory cards will be available soon on MyMemory.
